Entry fee:      R380 Same price as 2017 till end of Dec'17. Thereafter R420

Start venue:   Nottingham Road Primary (next door to Notties hotel/Pub) (see Directions)

                          Catering - Coffee, tea, Crunchies and rusks

Finish venue:    Moorcroft manor, Himeville (see Directions)

                         Catering - Wors rolls,  beers, cool drinks,

                         No Showers @ finish. There is however a dam you can swim in at your own risk!

Registration (Pre and Late): 

  • Friday evening registration 4:00-6:30pm Notties Hotel . 
  • Saturday @ Nottingham Road Primary from 5:30-6:30am
  • Zapper or Cash for late registration R440 (plus R45 CSA if required)

Timing:           TBC               

Prizes:               R6000 cash prizes to top 3 males and top 3 Females

Prize Giving:        1:00pm at Moorcroft Manor

Cut Off:             TBC (11am @ Water table 2@40kms)

Medics / Safety:

Medics, service crew and sweep vehicles will be on route to assist with emergencies. Emergency numbers will be giving to you in your pre race email. please take note of this number.

Please note that there are large portions of the race which have NO cellphone signal. We will be sending out an sms in the week prior to the race but please take note of the no signal areas along the route (based on Vodacom):

mySOS will be used at this event. Should you have any emergency and need medical help please use this (obviously if you are in an area with signal).Event organisers, medics and Safety officers will be alerted of your location. Please download mySOS app onto your phone, register. On the Friday night prior to the race our Berg 100 logo will appear on your phone in mySOS. During event click logo in an emergency (makes sure your location settings are ON).

Seconding/Supporters: 

Fortunately being in the middle of the Midlands Meander there are a host of galleries, coffee shops, craft shops and more to keep everyone entertained and there is plenty of accommodation in both Notties and Himeville/ Underburg, to make a great weekend out of it.

NB NB - For the safety and enjoyment of our riders, we will not allow any seconding or support along the route. Any support or seconding vehicles will be noted and their riders DQed. Please will all seconders drive to Notties via Underberg/Bulwer/Boston/Howick on the tar road.

Shuttle:

Being a one-day, point-to-point race, means if you have not organized your own lift, we have a shuttle service for you, but space is limited. See Shuttle Tab
